Summary of the text by Mary Shelley
In Mary Shelley's speaks of three aspects differents:
The Gothic Atmosphere, Victor's inner turmoil and Landscape reflecting the narrator's psyche.
To convey the gothic atmosphere, she used different expressions like "It was a dreary night" or "my candle was nearly burnt out". This really gives the impression of reading a scene of horror... To give a pace of the narrative, she wrote others expressions: "the demionacal corpse".
To depict the Victor's inner turmoil she wrote the thoughts inside of the creator: "I threw myself on the bed in my clothes", "I has so miserably given life" or "I was disturbed by the wildest dreams". This really gives the impression that becomes crazy!
And finally to convey the landscape reflecting the narrator's psyche she wrote: " The rain pattered dismally against the panes" and " by the dim and yellow light of the moon". It was really a "feel strange".
In conclusion this text is really strange and "morbid"
